Job Responsibilities
As a cook with us, you have overall responsibility for the kitchen, from menu planning, purchasing, and IT management to cooking, dishwashing, cleaning, and follow-up. You prepare lunch and snacks from scratch for approximately 70 children every day, following the Swedish Food Agency's guidelines, with a focus on nutritious and sustainable food. You are responsible for self-control and food safety, ensuring that special diets are handled safely and correctly. The position also includes daily dishwashing and cleaning of the kitchen environment.
You work closely with the educators and contribute to making the meal a positive and educational moment. In your daily work, you meet the children, talk about food, and spark curiosity about flavors and ingredients.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a trained cook or has equivalent experience from large-scale kitchens or restaurants. You are confident working independently and used to taking responsibility for a kitchen as a whole. You have good knowledge of food safety and special diets, as well as safe handling of allergies and ethical dietary choices. Furthermore, you communicate well in Swedish and have good communication skills when interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
As a person, you are structured, responsible, and positive. You enjoy collaborating and are a reliable adult in interactions with children. Employment Terms

- Start date: August 2026 or by agreement.
- Working hours: 87.5%.
- Probation period: A six-month initial probationary period may apply.
